Hello! Recently I've heard the "Ghost Town" song for a first time. For a several last years my life is strongly connected with Pripyat and the Zone. Can you tell, please, how was this song born? Why did you decide to write a song about Pripyat? By the way, most of Ukrainians even do not know details about Chernobyl. I was very surprised, when I've heard about Red Forest in your song, and it was a pleasant surprise! :) Have you ever been there? Or may be you read some literature about the disaster before writing the song?

That night at practice, being so moved by Elena's pictures and comments, the song just flowed out of us. We wrote most of it right there, with very few changes later on. I too stumbled upon chernobils video on you tube and your song, I too cried, I too felt sadness beyond measure, and then I look at my sons and I think what a world is this and how does one cope and what is we have to do when the darkness that is falling up on human race is so dark and inevitable makes me want to die.
